Oak Feather Books re-publishes old books and brings them to a new audience in the digital age. For centuries feather quills were used to write. Goose feathers were the most commonly used. Famous writers that used feathers to write include Venerable Bede in the Anglo Saxon era, all the way through to Charles Dickens in the Victorian era. Ink was made using Oak Galls, which are small apple-like balls that grow on Oak Trees, caused by Gall wasp larvae secreting chemicals.
